USB has become the standard connection method as it connects different computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, digital cameras, printers, personal media players, flash drives, hard disk drives. Basically it establishes communication between devices and a host controller. USB was designed for personal computers, but it has become a common place on other devices such as smart phones, PDAs and video game consoles, and as a power cord.
